Santa Ana Winds 1998 This is the official group picture of our 1998-99 band. The drum major is at the bottom left, the instructors are in red Winds jacket on the top, and that's Mr. Ward in his suit up there.
Hokey Pokey Before the parade begins, the colorguard team traditionally does a little hokey pokey to "put their attitude in."
In Step Staying in phase with our cadense, the band marches proudly down the street.
Lompoc 99 The majorette and letters prepare for their crowd-pleasing performance at the 1999 Lompoc Flower Festival.
Lompoc Flags The colorguard marches in perfect step as they prepare for Lompoc's competition area.
Brass Our brass section works hard on getting the proper blend of sound so not one instrument sticks out.
Bus Ride After the parade, the band gets to relax in our air conditioned charter buses provided by Star Dust Tours.
Huntington 1999 Thw Winds loves marching through Huntington Beach's 4th of July Parade. Here, you can see Mr. Ward in his red Winds jacket encouraging us from the sidelines.
Huntington Trombones We use concert tubas with "diaper" carriers instead of Sousaphones in order to achieve a richer quality of sound.
Huntington Horn A close up of one of our French Horn players, who is also known as our co-webmaster Matt "The Phantom." There are also a few trumpets and a close up of our powerful concert tubas.
Huntington Percussion Perfect ranks, clarinets! And there's our mighty percussion section bringing up the rear. Notice the cymbal player marching backwards!

More photos will be posted as we get them.
