The Official Stampede GNU/Linux Website

After we left the devel meeting, the four of us decided that we'd had enough of the car and to stay in Phoenix for the night. We got hold of Mechanix at the devel meeting, and afterwords, we went back to the Hampton Inn the Chris and Eric were staying at and got a room for the night.

While everyone else stayed and watched the Jazz game (sorry, Dan and Joyce haven't been in Utah long enough to care about the Jazz) Dan and Joyce chased out to scenic Mesa to pick up Mechanix and his son, Chris. The trip took way too long (mainly because of construction on I-17), and we nearly missed them at the mall that we were meeting at. But we found them, and headed back towards Phoenix proper to meet everyone else for dinner.

We were eating at a Mexican place that Eric swore was the best Mexican food he'd ever had. We got there and got in line (we were told a 45-minute wait) and spent the time that we had to wait terrozing the drug store/grocery store/ liquor store (what is this? Grocery stores that sell liquor? Toto, I don't think we're in North Carolina (or Utah) anymore.)

The wait mysteriously got cut in half, and we got seated. Here we have Joyce and Dan again. Note that the first thing that Joyce ordered was the raspberry daiquiri sitting in front of her. =)
